Salt
If you can read this and are willing to
live a healthy future, CUT SHORT your intake of table salt.
In scientific explanation of food nutrients, table salt falls into the category of MINERALS. Sodium (Na) is responsible for fluid balance inside and outside body cells. It also affects muscle and nerve function. The 85% of total sodium in our bodies circulates with our blood.
A high intake of table salt may cause high
blood pressure. This leads to possible heart failure and heart attack. Kidneys start
malfunctioning and bone tissue decays rapidly.
All this doesn’t mean that salt mustn’t be
used. Salt is necessary for flow of blood, proper functioning of muscles and
nerves. Table salt is commonly marketed with added iodine which ensures healthy
thyroid. You need to avoid HIGH USE OF SALT.
Sugar
The runner up on podium stands everyone’s
favourite – sugar. It is not a healthy habit to use high quantities of sugar.
Sugar is a carbohydrate – an instant
energizer. Of all food, carbohydrates digest first, then proteins and fats at
last. As a primary source of energy, it is necessary for our instant energy
needs. It is also needed for the proper working of brain and spinal cord. Red
blood cells rely on sugar (carbohydrates) to do their gases carrying duty.
Pancreas is responsible for digestion of
sugar. High use of sugar means more work for pancreas which gradually decays in
functioning due to overload. This situation is called diabetes – a very common
disorder in middle aged and older people. Diabetes ultimately results in kidney
and urinary bladder problems. Prolonged high consumption of sugar also results
in heart failure, arteries hardness, and heart attack. Dental decay and
cavities are solely caused by high use of sugar and sugary products.
It is highly desirable that you must
abandon sugar use. Sugar is such a versatile food nutrient that it can’t be
completely avoided and you must not do that. Fruits contain carbohydrates and
wheat and dairy products also have them. These will be enough for you.
Things to avoid are sugary cold or hot drinks. Soda drinks contain 30 to 50 grams of sugar in one 250 ml serving while energy drinks score even higher. In a day, our body needs 24 to 36 grams of it at maximum. Beware! You eat carbohydrate rich grain and dairy products and fruit too. Choice is yours.
Fats
Fats are a huge source of vital energy.
They take the longest time in digestion and consequently give the largest packs
of energy.
Fats are needed to absorb certain vitamins.
So, you cannot give up on fats completely. You must use monounsaturated fats
that are found in almonds, cashews, peanuts, avocados and olives.
For cooking and light broiling, you should use cooking oils from olive, canola, sunflower, soybean, safflower and peanut.
Early Rising and Morning Walk
The current era is full of diseases and
wonders of medical science. Despite all this, isn’t it the wisest to avoid
falling ill?
Depression is a very serious and fearful
problem. Medications to deal with depression may lead into addiction and
aggravated situations. People are afraid and mentally lost.
Diabetes is hard to go and sticky. Diabetic
people can live a good life with a strict discipline. Yet, life becomes tasteless.
They have to think before every movement of hand to mouth.
High blood pressure leads to heart and
kidney diseases. It is a life-threatening situation.
[TECHBIZ] suggests you to rise early in the
morning and go for a morning walk. Try to move your feet more briskly. Follow
this suggestion before a doctor suggests you to follow it. Early rising and
morning walk is such a nice habit which CURES depression and high blood
pressure and SAVES you from diabetes and heart and kidney failure.
PS: Drink a lot of clean water on daily
basis.
